Best home remedies of Acne

What is Acne?

Acne/Pimple is the most common  skin disease. It is mainly a bacterial infection. It occurs mainly due to hormonal disturbances.

Some of the causes of acne are:

  • Some of the major causes of acne is emotional stress, premenstrual hormonal changes, and exposure to chemicals or too much sunlight. 
  • Chronic constipation is another main cause of acne.
  • Some time unhealthy habits leads to the formation of acne.

Some of the home remedies of Acne :

  • Keep your colon clean, so that it will remove the toxin from the body.
  • The juice of raw potato is also an effective home remedy for acne. Simply apply the juice on the face for some time, till it gets dried and wash it thoroughly.

  • Drinking Aloe Vera juice is also helpful in treating Acne.

  • Also rubbing some melon on the skin at bedtime can be used as a home remedy for acne.

  • A tea made of common herbs like cumin, coriander, and fennel also works in treating acne. This needs to be taken 3 times a day.

  • Egg white acts as an astringent. Just apply the egg whites on the face with the cotton swab after cleaning the face. Leave it for a few hours or overnight and then wash it with water.
  • Make a mixture of sugar and some amount of water. Wash your face thoroughly and apply on the face. Sugar has an antibacterial property.
  • One can rub the raw garlic on the pimples. Garlic juice reduces the pimples. Also if one eats 3 garlic cloves a day, then the blood gets purified and there won't be any more occurrence of pimples on the face.

  • One can crush the guava leaves and apply on the pimples. Keep it for some time and then wash the face with water. 

  • Moringa leaves juice in combination with some lemon juice can be applied on the face to reduce pimples as well as pimple marks.

  • Before going to bed at night,  a mixture of refined groundnut oil in addition to the same portion of  lemon juice can be applied. One can keep it for 30 min and then can be thoroughly washed.
  • One can apply the juice of crushed leaves of custard apple on the pimples. It will greatly reduce the size gradually.

  • Neem leaves can be boiled in clarified butter. Then after cooling drain, the Neem leaves and apply the clarified butter on the face. It will dry the pimple gradually.

  • White Aparajita (Clitoria Ternatea) has several useful parts like roots, leaves, flowers, and fruit. One can burn some parts of all these, and then mix the ash with some clarified butter and take this as a medicine for one month. It will stop the occurrence of pimples once again. 
Pimple is a very annoying thing for people. But as it occurs, the affected person should stop worrying about it and follow any of the above mentioned remedies.

In past few years, green tea is gaining popularity among health conscious people. According to the experts if, people will use it in excess then it may affect their overall health. Many people has got the impression that if you drink it at least 9 or 10 times a day it will reduce the body weight. But actually it is not true, and it may affect the health too.


Some adverse effects are as below:


1. It is very harmful to drink green tea in empty stomach. It produces acid in our body. If you drink green tea 4 to 5 times a day it will increase the caffeine content in the body. Also caffeine decreases the blood flow to the brain. And this will lead to dizziness, vomiting. One should eat something before drinking the green tea.

2. It is not advisable to drink green tea along with your meal.

3. Green tea supplements and excessive use of green tea can lead to caffeine deposition in the body which leads to liver disorder.

4. Excessive use leads to inhibit the calcium deposition in the body, which leads to deterioration of bone health.

5. Tannins, caffeine, and tea catechins have all been linked to increased risks during pregnancy. Drinking more than 2 cups of green tea during pregnancy/ breast feeding leads to miscarriage and birth defect.

6. Green tea contains certain antioxidants, which inhibit the iron absorption in the body. It is dangerous to those people who are anemic.

Literally "Barefoot walking " means to walk on the ground without wearing any footwear. In earlier 
days people used to walk miles in bare foot. That was one of the reason of their good health. 

According to the experts, barefoot walking is a kind of exercise. Also it is termed as "Grounding" or 
"Earthing". With modernization, we are gradually loosing connection with the Mother earth. It has 
got several health benefits beyond our imagination.
